We Are Connected
Every culture has offensive names that they use to call other races. We know alot of these words, but do you know what Squaw means? In some dictionaries their defination is Indian Woman, WRONG!!! The word `Squaw is derived from the French word meaning Vagina` NATIVE AMERICAN culture has always held their women in high reguard. The word not only puts down Native Women but the whole culture, race and values. I find it personally offensive and really kind of gross!- vagina bread?? (squaw bread) ICK!!!! Think about it! Vagina Valley, Vagina INN bed & breakfast, that really sounds bad. So please people the next time you address a Native woman, dont call her a Squaw, thats a fighting word!!!…….

now i agree with that as a child that is what i heard all my childhood life and to top it off it was used alot in schools now that was hurtful words as i grew up still to this day we r called that .FIGHTING WORDS THEY ARE
